The ASP Baton Leverage End Cap locks the baton in the officer's hand, improving baton retention and control.  They can be attached simply by screwing them onto the baton in place of the standard end cap.

With the leverage cap, you can change the way you hold the baton. Rather than holding it in the middle of the handle, you can hold it with your little finger in the recess at the end of the baton. This improves the pivoting motion in the hand. The leverage cap improves strike capability which will improve the safety of the officer and the public.

The leverage cap makes it much harder for assailants to wrestle the baton from your hand.
